Need a special dessert for a dinner party or holiday event, but don't
need a theme decorated cake? Here are some options for you.
All of these cakes are made from 3-4 layers of cake with filling in-between. For the holidays
these can be dressed up with a simple flower design. Flavors include but not limited to the following:
German chocolate: Traditional light chocolate cake with made from scratch coconut filling.
If you have not had scratch filling you are missing out.
White cake with raspberry filling: Soft white cake
with just the right amount of sweetness in the raspberry filling.
Chocolate amaretto with raspberry filling. Need I say more?
Chocolate cake, iced in chocolate butter cream, with garnach filling and chocolate poured on top. Talk about
chocolate rush!!
French Vanilla cake with any filling is great.
Pick your favorite strawberry, lemon, raspberry or chocolate.
Caramel cake with
raspberry filling: This one you have to try to appreciate. It seemed like an odd combination to me but after I tried it I
liked it. :)
Butter pecan cake with chocolate
filling. Super rich!! This would also be good with the coconut or raspberry filling.
