Wedding Cakes
Chances are you have not shopped for a wedding cake recently or even at all.
Please be aware that shopping for wedding cakes can NOT be based on price per serving alone.
Make sure that you ask for a serving chart that they base their prices on. See more info below.

Here is a hint for comparison purposes of my wedding cakes vs. others.
I offer wedding cakes with a more realistic serving guide. It is still a wedding cake slice, but you will actually get the servings that you expect. For example, most places use a standardized cake cutting guide which shows a 6" cake serving 14. My serving chart for a 6" cake serves 8! Which would you rather have? :)

Here is another comparison example: The three tier 14 x 10 x 6 is a popular size. Most bakeries use a serving guide that serves 116 for this size. My chart is 103. My price per serving may be higher but you still come out ahead. (for this size, their price at $3.50 a serving would be $406.00, mine is $360.50) That is quite a savings.
Wedding cakes
Wedding cakes start at $3.50/slice for butter cream and $4.50/slice for basic fondant and up to 6.50/slice for more complicated designs in fondant.
If you estimate the number of guests and multiply that by the price per slice that will get you pretty close to the total price. Details can be figured at your appointment. There are always options to fit within your budget.
I've expanded my styles to now include the popular pillow cakes like the one in my gallery. These are great for elegant weddings or even Sweet 16's if you change up the colors. They are WAY more complicated and time consuming so the price is $5.50- $6.50 a slice depending on the design.

Want more? Instead of trying to save the top tier and eating a cake that has been frozen for a year I will make a fresh 6" cake for your first anniversary. You will receive a certificate to use within the month of your first anniversary.

Notes about fondant:
If you like the look of fondant but have had bad experiences with it you should consider trying mine. I would be happy to provide you with a sample. All brands of fondant are not created equal. How it is applied varies greatly also. I ice the cake with a thin layer of butter cream and then add a thin layer of fondant giving the look you desire without the added thickness.

Meringue Kisses or monograms:
These are fun little treats that melt in your mouth. They can be made in many colors to match your wedding and several flavors.
Kisses are bite size and cost $25.00/100.
Monograms are larger and made in any letter to add to your plating when the cake is served. $45.00/100

Cup cakes:
Wedding cup cakes depend on what you want on them. Standard regular is 2.00 each. There are tons of other designs to choose from. Pricing runs for 2.00 each to 3.50 each. Send me a picture and I can give you a quote.
